The basic equipment:-

  • Good corkscrew
  • Bottle opener
  • A double-end measuring cup
  • A bar shaker with two parts and a strainer
  • A small wooden cutting board for citrus fruit slicing, plus a serrated knife
  • A medium and a large glass mixing jug
  • A long-handled spoon for mixing
  • Bottle sealers for carbonated mixers
  • Fruit juices should be fresh, so a squeezer is handy
  • An insulated ice bucket, big enough to hold at least two trays of ice cubes
  • Ice tongs
  • Champagne tweezers
